What We Do

At Carmen Get Fit our aim is for everyone to feel like they fit right in no matter their fitness level (even if that level is zero!). Carmen prides herself on her ability to structure sessions so no one ever feels like they’re "the unfit one"; most things we do are time based.  At the end of the day you are your only competitor! Our sessions accommodate ALL fitness levels, ages, shapes & sizes and we are always happy to modify any exercises to cater for any injuries or ailments.  We look forward to meeting you!

Boot Camp:

Our Boot Camps involve a combination of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), strength training (body weight, equipment & free weights), cardio and circuit style training – oh and lots of fun & games too!  We provide you with a mixture of everything to keep you enjoying each session, which is just what you need when building a fitter, stronger & healthier body.  Don’t let the name “Boot Camp” scare you, our sessions cater for ALL fitness levels and we are always happy to modify any exercises to cater for any injuries or ailments.

See what Boxing Boot Camp is all about!

Boxing Boot Camp:

Our Boxing sessions are a super fun group session comprising partner and pad work (we provide both!) with various boxing drills and simple combinations.  Boxing is a great way to increase your strength, endurance and fitness, burn fat and relieve any pent-up stress!  You don’t need to bring a partner, we pair you up with a person of similar fitness and strength, so you definitely won’t feel any awkwardness if you “don’t know anyone”!

9:30am Boot Camps

Our 9:30am Boot Camp class is specifically catering for “after school drop off” parents or shift workers who may find themselves available at this time.

Typically we do a Boot Camp and Boxing Boot Camp each per week. This class caters to all fitness levels and people of all shapes and sizes. Expect a mix of Hiit (high intensity interval training), strength (weights, body weight kettle bells and free weights), circuit training, boxing and cardio in any of these sessions.

Zumba:

ZUMBA® takes the "work" out of workout by mixing low and high intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance fitness party!  Featuring Latin, modern (and even some 80s and 90s rhythms thrown in for good measure) with easy to follow moves, Zumba® is an exercise class that keeps everyone motivated by creating a dance party atmosphere.  A total workout combining all elements of fitness, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class!  You will have such a fun time that you'll leave with sore "jawceps" from smiling so much!  "Unco" people most welcome, and encouraged!!
